I still have pains 11 months after my c-section, I think in time it will go away. Mine opened up a few times for stitches to come out, but I think it will stop eventually.
I had 2 sections and still had pains over a year after the last one. It always felt much worse during my period. I would say that it took approximately 2 - 2.5 years before I felt completely back to normalNormal saline flush, with no pains or pulling/tugging feelings. To this day, every once in a great while, I'll feel like something is pulling there, but if it happens once a year, it's a lot!! Since you've already had it checked out at the ER, I think you're ok, but if you still feel uncomfortable, make an appointment to see your OB. Maybe he/she could explain to you what's going on in that area so that you'll feel more comfortable with it. But it sounds like what you're going through is quite normal.
