Are you absolutely positive that it was an empty sac? Did the technician tell you that it was empty? I'm only asking because with you being six weeks along (four weeks if you count contraceptionBirth control and family planning Emergency contraception) it might be hard to see the embryoCea because it's so tiny.
If indeed the technician told you that it was an empty sac, I'm sorry to say but there is no baby. The same thing happened to a friend of mine. It was just an empty yok sack. It can happen sometimes if someone is on birth controlControl Control rx and they get pregnant. Check with your doc to make sure. I'm pretty sure that they can try to see if there's a heartbeatHeart palpitations Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat or something to make darn sure that your baby is indeed-y in there.
