faint lines on 4 pregnancy test

Hi i'm 22 years old and my period is late by 8 days, i've taken 4 pregnancy test... 3 with the +/- and 1 with the normal two lines, everytime i took them a faint line made a + and two lines appeared on the normal one. I was just wondering could this mean i am pregnant? Me and my husband would be very happy if i am

If you see any line within the time allowed I would say your pregnant. Being as late as you are, your lines should be getting darker. Try testing in the morning with FMU. I say congrats!! A line is a line:-)

i also had pink/white discharge a day after my missed period. so does that mean its implantation bleeding?

they sell one kind (im not sure what brand it is) that will say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" to help eliminate that problem and take the guess work out of determining if youre pregnant. that kind is a bit more expensive but it might be worth a try. good luck.

i'll see if i get to the store tomorrow and buy one of them cause i have a doctor's appt in the morning and lets see what the doctor says, lets hope its a + ... =)

I called the 1-800 number when I got a faint line, they said it's only faint because my hormone levels weren't very high yet, but a faint line is a line either way. So I'd say you're pregnant! Good luck!

well i went to the doctor today and she took a blood test and i get the results tomorrow but she said she start picking out baby names cause it sounds as if i'm a mommy :-) i'm so excited and anticipating tomorrow!

I dont understand how you would get that many faint positives and have it turn out being negative!

well my sister in law (brother's wife) said that it could be i'm really early in th epregnancy and even a blood test can't determine it. she also said it could be a UTI considering i had pink and white discharge... idk.... i'm just wondering all this myself, why the discharge? why the faint lines? and why the missed period? i never miss my period and i have no signs of it coming soon.... i'm really confused

So sorry you're going through all the confusion. If it were too early for a blood test to detect the hcg in your system, a hpt definitely wouldn't pick up on it. It seems kind of odd considering you used two different types of tests and got faint positives on both. Not sure they still order qualitative/quantitative blood tests but maybe your dr ordered the wrong one???? I really hope someone else can help shed some light on this. Maybe you should try testing with a digital hpt in a few days and contact your dr if you get a positive on that. Good luck.

I am so sorry! Did your doctor suggest you commingin a few days for a second test? Why didnt shedo a test (urine) in office?

yeah she actually called me back like 2 hours after i came home and said we'll retest on may 7th because the hCG might not be showing up so soon.... and the urine wasn't done because she said she relys more on the blood test

A UTI won't cause a BFP. The most likely answer is that this was what they call a chemical pregnancy. Basically a pregnancy that is detected early and then miscarries. Chances are that if you take another HPT tomorrow it will be neg.  If this is your case, I am so sorry. Many women have chemical pregnancies and don't know it. They just think AF came a little late. You just happened to test and find out.

On the other hand. weirder things have happened! women with neg tests but US showed a baby! People not testing pos for over 3 weeks past the due date for AF!

Try to buy  Clear Blue Digital it will say pregnant or not pregnant and test it in the morning. This way you dont have to gess if it was evaporation line  or a positive. Good Luck

okay so i took a dollar store pregnancy test and it came out negative but i still have really weird symptoms, my body feels really weird all day, i have sore nipples (just the nipples not the areolas or the whole breast) and they stay hard for half the day, i have mild cramps, i feel really drained all day (i dont do much just dishes and maybe cook), and my mouth has a very bad taste, this not how i usually feel before i get my period.... i'm starting to feel a little more worried than i was. can anyone please help? could i really be pregnant and its not just showing up as yet?
