Not as long as you don't overdo it. I asked my doc about it in my pre-pregnancy check-up and he said as long as I don't push myself to work out harder than I did before I was pregnant it is okay. I saw a woman at the gym the other day, she ran 8 miles and looked to be about 6 or 7 months preggo. So, just make sure you don't get overly exhausted or overly hot (this diverts blood away from the baby and to your skin to help cool your body) and you should be fine. I would check with your doc though if you are starting a new exercise routine or have not been working out previously.

Personally, I cut out a lot when I found out I was pregnant. Only because I had 2 miscarriages and wanted to take it easy. As long as you have a routine and have been consitent with it, I don't see a problem. Remember, everything in moderation and make sure to check with your doc. You need to becareful you don't pull anything and certain movements you do as you get further along. And make sure you are drinking plenty of water! How far along are you?

oops..I meant to put your name in there before and somehow the date got in there! lol. =)
Honestly, nothing you do is going to cause a miscarriage. If it happens it happens and we have to rest in the fact that God knows what is best for us. I thought I was doing everything perfectly last time, I ate right, took my vitamins all the time, drank tons of water, and still miscarried! I am just thankful that I have made it this far this time around! I wish you the best!!  and congrats! =)

My doctor is really serious about what kind of exercise you should and shouldn't do. When you are pregnant, she basically said that your joints and muscles and ligaments are more vulnerable because they soften. My doc said it's really not a good idea to run. She had a friend who was so proud of herself for running throughout her pregnancies, and she was fine during the pregnancies, but because of it, she has had TWO knee surgeries! I wouldn't risk it while pregnant. It may not hurt the baby, but it could definitely hurt your body.

Do low impact exercises such as walking, elliptical, swimming.

I have heard that pregnant women are not supposed to do a lot of leg exercises to try and build muscle (such as squats), as the more muscle accumulated in the hip/pelvic region can make for a more difficult birth.....

Doing a workout routine (such as aerobics) which may involve the squatting motion and leg exercises is ok - just don't do it to build up your muscle like a body builder would.
