I called my doctor each time I got a positive that same day or the next day. The policy of the office I go to is that you have to be 10 weeks to be seen, so they'll just schedule me ahead of time instead of having me call back. This is because I have Medicaid when I'm pregnant and they treat you like cattle. LOL!
interesting. i live in israel and over here, everything is different i guess. actually there are no rules here, and that's why i asked. here everyone does whatever they want to and each doctor has different oppinions.
my doctor told me in my other pregnancy to come to her once every six or seven weeks and i felt stupid. i was hardly checked, she asked me a few questions and that's it. the nurse took bloodpresure, urine
I got my first ultrasound at 4 weeks 2 days but they didn't do my actual OB appt. just an ultrasound next Tuesday is my first actual OB appt I'll be 7 weeks 3 days then.
Sounds pretty normal, yehudis. Prenatal checkups are very quick unless you are having complications. Did they ever feel your tummy? I only got one blood test my entire pregnancies. I also had blood pressure
heart doppler off of eBay or another website. I'm sure some ladies on here know of some really good ones if that is something that is important to you!!!
Here we come in once a month for the first 7 months. Then every other week during the 8th month. And then every week during the last month until delivery. I think the difference in health care also has to do with the health care system. In Israel, everyone can be seen, right? You don't have to have insurance?
