has anyone exp. intrahepatic cholestasis

has anyone heard or experience intrahepatic colestasis of pregnancy???
would appreciate any input!!!

i'm sorrry i spelled it wrong cholestasis. but yes it has something to do with the bile & liver.

I had cholestasis very badly with 2nd pregnancy, only mildly with 1st. I am 31 weeks into 3rd pregnancy and I am starting to experience symptoms again. So far, we haven't been able to determine if the problem is with my liver or gallbladder. I am very concerned b/c at one point in 2nd pregnancy my bile acid level was 48.3 and I was so miserable.

I had cholestasis when pregnant with my daughter, now 15 months old.  I found a very helpful website called itchymoms.com that helped me pinpoint my diagnosis.  My doctor induced me at 37 weeks after an amnio to  determine lung maturity.  The itching was INTOLERABLE for 7 weeks prior to delivery, but I was fine and so was my beautiful, healthy daughter.     I also took a bile-salt "absorption" med for 3 weeks prior.  Hope all is well with you
