has anyone had 2 get a shot 2 stop contractions

Ok so last weekend I had 2 get shot 2 stop my contractions as I am only 30 weeks. I have heard that alot of women have 2 b induced if they get these shots while pregnant. Has anyone had one or heard this? I have never had 2 have one or b induced

I had to be induced with my first, When I had the shot to stop early contractions. My second child came when she was ready.

I think its 50-50. A lot of mommies get induced. My friend was induced with her first (didn't get a shot) and than with her 2nd and 3rd she had those shots to stop contractions and those 2 babies were 4 weeks early. Your baby will come when its ready.

I had the shot 4-5 times with my first, I was induced but it was 5 days before my due date. I'm 32 Weeks now with my second ads have had the shot 3 times already not sure about induction this time

I got the shot with my first pregnancy and did not have to be induced. My water broke on its own and she was delivered in 4 hours

I had that shot with my first but it didn't take correctly I guess cause it only stopped them for 2 days he was born @ 30w

Thanks 4 ur comments. I just wasn't sure if that or how that shot would effect my labor and delivery. I kind of hope I get induced lol my last sons head was actually coming out in the elevator on the way 2 the delivery room. I was in labor for like 1 hr. I'm scared I won't make it 2I the hospital this time lol

I just got out of the hospital had to get 3 of them didnt work for me so they gave me a pill to stop them which worked I guess i will be taking them till i have her im 34weeks good luck to you
