hcg levels rising slowly

i am 6 weeks pg and my hcg levels on monday were 1670 and wednesday they are 1989. they are not doubling, has this happened to any one and they had a healthy baby? the dris afraid i might loose the baby. i had to go and get my progeseterone checked today, it needs to be at least a 20, if its under i will loose the baby, i am so scared. i wont find out the results until monday

Monday is a long time to wait for the results. They really should get the results to you today or tomorrow. If your progesterone is low they can put you on supplements. With my insurance it cost me $35 for 60 progesterone pills (Prometrium). I am not sure how much the progesterone suppositories or shots are.

And yes, definitely want progesterone to be above 20. Not all hope it lost just yet, sweetie! Hang in there! And I'd call right now, before the office closes, and ask if you could please get results tomorrow so you can act fast. My last miscarriage was due to falling progesterone so I'm a huge advocate for making sure women get it if they need it.

Now I also want you to know that sometimes the progesterone doesn't work either. But at least you're trying to prevent a miscarriage as much as possible, right? Keep that chin up and keep us updated.

i had to go to the hospital to get my progesterone checked. i am going to call tomorrow and see if they have the results. and the dr doesnt want to put me on anything yet, until he can rule out an ectopic, because i am at high risk for it, and he said its too early to tell.

update!! well i went to the er today for bleeding again.   my hcg levels doubled.but my progesterone is only 10.5, it needs to be at least a 20, and the hospital thinks i might have an ectopic again, but they couldnt prove it and they wanted to give me a shot to end the pregnancy, and i declined. because they didnt have proof it was in my tubes. they think its ectopic because they didnt see anything in my uterus. but my sister went through this and they tried to abort the pregnancy, and she said no, and when she hit 7 weeks, they saw the baby in the uterus with ultrasound and her pregesterone was low and they put her on a pill. she now has a 6month old healthy baby boy. has this ever happened to anyone and they ended up having a healthy pregnancy?
