help

Hi everyone my name is Jammie and I am in need of some help. I found out on the 25th of April 2009 that i was prego with an HCG level of 5(blood test). Since then weird things have been happening. My Hcg levels have not doubled like the dr. thinks they should be. On the 5 they were 90 on the 8 they were 140 and then the 240 yesterday. Last night I was told again at the hosptial that my hcgs are still very low now at 240 what should they be. I have had three u/s and last nights was the only one that has shown anything. It showed a 2mm sac. I am not sure if its just a pusedo sac that can show up with an etopic or if I should wait and see if r  lil one develops. I have an appointment on Tuesday to rerun my hcg and do anyother ultrasound. I do not know what to do or what to think. I have had a previous preg. and all was fine.  whats the difference between a psuedo sac and a sac that will eventualy have a baby in it.

If you have found out since the 25th of April that you are pregnat, which is the same day I found out I was pregnant, your numbers should be way over the numbers you have been getting.  My numbers are in the thousands.  I would defintely get a check up.  I don't want to be negative but it does seem that something way be wrong with why your numbers are so low.  Hope this helps!!!!  I wish you all the best.  Please let me know what happens!!!  You should by now be seeing the baby in the sac.  I saw the babys heartbeat on May 11th so you should see something by now since we are probably the same amount of weeks pregnant.

Everyone's numbers rise at different intervals.  The doctors keep telling me that my numbers are not as high as they want to be seeing them either.  I am currently 6wks today and my HCG level is 2568 and 3 days ago when I had my HCG level tested it was only 2348.  All I can say is as long as your numbers are rising, I would not worry about it.  They are rising just not by "book standards" doubling every 24-48 hrs.  You may be also be extremely early.  When I went for my first ultrasound they couldnt find ANYTHING and they figured by my last period I should be 6 wks then.  I went yesterday to get an ultrasound and they finally found a sac with a baby and a heartbeat. Do I am NOW 6 wks today they decided.  Don`t get discouraged. You are just too early to see anything.  Keep your hopes up and stay confident!  <>

Thank you so much for your kind words. Worried has not been the word for me on the 25th of April I was told we had a misscarrage because m level was only at a 5. Yesterday I had my thrid or fourth u/s and now there is a small sac only 2mm but its there. I am not sure if I am just not that far.( I thought based on my dates that I was 8 weeks.) or if its an etopic and a pusedo sac that just forming. IDK. I have an appointment on tuesday for yet more test. Knowing your numbers are not doubling does make me relax a lot more. Maybe lil one will be ok.  thanks again
