during your 10th through your 14th day of your cycle. The 14th day is your most fertile day:) I know bc this is how I got pregnant and now I am 8 months so I did research back when I was trying to conceive and found out medically exactly how! Also try to remain lying down for a long period of time so that the sperm doesn't drip out but has time to swim around and find your eggs!
Thanks for the info, sadley though wont work for all some of us dont get regular cycles .so dont ov on day 14.wish we did be so alot easyier..for instance i ov on the 17th,glad worked for you though, !!!!
TARA you must have calculated from the last day of your menstruation which would mean the 14th day has been misconstrued by you as the 17th day, thats ok i was confused too and it took me five months to really get the hang of it and get the right day because my cycle is not every 28 days either. So I understand where you are coming from. However medical evidence proves that every woman is most fertile during their 10th to 14th day of menstruation, but you are right everyones 10th to 14th day can be different depending on the variations in their cycle, the best way to tell though when your 14th day is, by your disharge which will look like egg whites almost and the 15th day is noticeable because thats when their is no discharge
IT WILL WORK AND IT DOES WORK MY CYCLE IS IRREGULAR JUST GO TO THIS WEBSITE AND YOU HAVE TO KEEP TRYING FOR AWHILE TILL YOU GET IT RIGHT, IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN OVERNIGHT IT DOES TAKE TIME!
I have been trying for 7 years, have a 14 year old son,so have also done research.pasted below, just goes to show how every medical opinon is different, there are hundreds of medical sites that will say this that and the other, the only true is your own body.
I have been using clearblue fertility monitors, and wee sticks bbt charting.i ov between days 15 and 17 .as for cm i never get much of it.so thats not an option.but i do ov had hundreds of medical tests.also i have been charting for a long time now,is strange because there are alot of medical evidence out there thats very misconstructing.they will all tell you different things.so best way i make up for it is plenty of loving ,lol day 10 to 20 well every other day, then when get my surge go for it.so what works for one doesnt for all,or else we all be pregnant and there wouldnt be women on the forum, that have been trying for years.
Ovulation may be calculated by natural changes in the body, from common
estimations, or by mechanical detecting devices. The natural changes of they body allow you to determine when ovulation is occurring by examining your cervical fluid, taking your body temperature
, and tracking your periods. The estimated ovulation is recognized to occur anywhere between 11-21 days following the last menstrual period (LMP), or 12-16 days from when you expect the next menstrual period to start.
For women that have shorter cycles (i.e. 21 days) and their menstruation occurs for 7 days, it is possible to ovulate right after your period. Ovulation is expected 12 to16 days before your next period begins, which would place your ovulation at days 6-10 of your cycle. In most cases ovulation is going to occur a few days after menstruation; this is normally between 11-19 days from the first day of your menstruation.
take prenate's and be healthy, also sometimes its not you, your man might not be fertile, have his sperm count tested, and get him to take vitamins and fish oil this will increase his fertility. just some suggestions, hope it works good luck!
Cheers girl we had all the tests his sperm ok.been on prenatals years now.we doing the deed right time as know when ov,but we will get there,im on my 2ww now,4dpo so who knows.
think i sussed out what you were trying to say,you count back 14 days from first day of period.that would be day i ov.as have longer cycle but from day 1 of period till ov was 17 days.but you right i know when im due on,so if i count back 14 days from date due af it be right on target day 17.weird...
I NEVER ovulated on day 14!!!! I was as early as day 12 and as late as day 18! I just found out I am preggers again and this month was the day 18!!! The best thing to do is chart your basal
in that time and did go to a reproductive endocrinologist). Here is how MY body works and I'm sure you will see a pattern for yourself too! My periods averaged 5 days (this month mine was 9 though) then I had 9 days until I ovulated and then 12 days until new cycle. I was only ever off by one day in all this except for the one time 9 days period! Just get to know your body and good luck!
