hernia and 15 weeks pregnant OUCH!!!!!

I had a umbilical hernia fixed 9 months ago after the birth of my baby, I am now almost 15 weeks pregnant again. I have been having pain in my bellybutton for awhile now, and my OB DR said that I may have another hernia, last night I was in the worse pain ever with my belly button, When my husband and I looked at it, my belly button was completly poking out and very hard, purple,and it hurt to walk. If I was later in my pregnancy I would have thought possible labor. Today the pain isnt as bad and my belly button went back in, well not as big as it was and not as hard, my stomach still hurts to touch it, lifting, straining. I know its not the baby, its just my bellybutton and around it.
My question, has anyone have this? Is this what I am experincing? Will it be this painfull all threw my pregnancy?

Well I know how you feel.. I too have a hernia... I'm also about 15 and half weeks... now... Over the weekend. I really didn't do anything that would cause this pain.. But it hurt about my belly button..
I went to the walk in clinic  and they that they wouldn't be able to do anything until the baby was born.

Hi there again.. Do you have a update about your hernia.. We are around that same amount pregos.... I'm able 18 and 3 days... 4 and half months. don't know but tonight the pain is just unbearable. Last time I had pain i know that it wasn't the baby... I'm scared as they wont do surgery on me as they say that I'm morbidly obese and had a scare during the last surgery. The family doc just stated that it shouldn't be a problem unless the hernia pops out and stays out... the pain is so sore.. I want to go home... I'm at work right now.. but I need the money and with the holiday pay my cheq is going to be nice... I didn't sleep every well today... don't know what to do... pain is bad but hernia isn't out....

hi my name is laura and im 15weeks pregnant with my third child. i was told this week i had a umbilical hernia which is very painful. i am also diabetic and on insulin would this hernia affect my sugars as one minute they are high then an hour goes by and im as low as i could have a hypo .very worried

Im 15 weeks pregnant this is my first child. I recently found out that i have a hernia next to my belly button . I'm scared because im not sure what the outcome of something like this would be. Is it a serious health risk? Am i at risk of dying? Will the baby be ok? The pain is crazy and i work in a HeathCare Facility with Brain Injured patients TONS of heavy lifting and strain to my body i dont know what to do at this point i know i cant work but NO ONE seems to be taking my situation seriously.. what should i do and who can i talk to about all this?
