on my 1st I didn't test till I was about 8 weeks but with this one I tested everyday for a week after my period n had about 8 negatives but around 8days after my period I had a positive. But you can test a couple of days after a missed period and get a positive

I didnt test with this pregnancy until CD 33 as my cycles were a bit messed up from my previous miscarriage, they were longer than before so I never knew when it was due as they were like 28 days, 32, 27, 37 days a part in between...  So I picked the 33rd day as my safe zone..

It was a faint positive then but definitely clear...  I believe I had implantation bleeding around cycle day 27 so testing sooner probably would have got me negatives.

Well i thought I was 4 weeks i did my test friday and went to the dr yesterday and they confirmed me at 5 wks! Mine came up right away i must have been cycle day 30 when i tested i sure didnt expect it be like BAM and two lines but it did!

with my first first pregnancy, I didn't get a positive until after my missed period b/c I wasn't expecting it - ended up miscarrying.

with my 2nd pregnancy (my daughter) I was 4 days before my missed period when I got a faint positive (10dpo)

with my 3rd pregnancy (my son) I was 5 days before my missed period when I got a faint positive (9dpo)

with my 4th pregnancy (this one...don't know boy or girl yet! :-) ) I was about 3 days before my missed period (11dpo) when I got a pretty dark positive.

this time, at almost 5 weeks. waited until i was definitely late -- had had too many disappointments in the past!

with my ds1 i got a positive 2 days before period
with my ds2 i got a positive when i was one week late with period
this pregnancy i got a positive 3 days before my period was due.

I got my first positive the day my period was due and I took a second test a week later. So...3-4 weeks and 4-5 weeks.
