can act up. I made sure to get exercise (swimming and yoga ) and always felt better after and when I skipped exercise it hurt again. I am not not having back pain but I have my left hip
area now that gets like a cramp all the way into my thigh and its like a charlie horse...it hurts and usually it happens first thing in the morning. i also think it has to do with ligaments

when my back was hurting it was about a 4-5 on the pain scale and were more of a dull ache
the leg cramps are about a 7-8 though drives me crazy!! but exercise does help
My lower back has been hurting the entire time. My Dr thinks I have SI pain (the joint that spreads open some during pregnancy to allow birth).
I have to take pain meds for it, but I see a high risk specialistwe and everything. My back pain reaches a 10 within 24hrs of not taking pain meds so I can't sleep. I can go 72 hrs without sleep due to the pain.
Ask your dr about Lidoderm %5 patches. They're SAFE during pregnancy and numb the area of pain some. those alone can take my pain to about a 7
This is my second pregnancy I've been experiencing sciatic pain since before my first child with each pregnancy the pain has gotten worse (I'm sure this has been caused by carrying my first so much during my pregnancy) but the pain will hit me suddenly sometimes while I'm walking and cause me to loose function of whichever leg the pain is on so I would say the pain for me is anywhere between 5 and 10 just depends on the situation :/
