i just found out im pregnat and i was drinking before i knew help

i just found out i am pregnant but before i found out i had no idea, and was smoking and drinking for the past couple weeks. how much will it affect my baby i want a health baby did i completely ruin my chances i am about a month into pregnancy. thank you for the help.

As long as you do not continue to drink and smoke, you will be okay.  Congrats on your pregnancy!

well, its quite common to be drinking and if you are a smoker, than to be smoking if you didn't know you were pregnant. However, if you were trying to get pregnant, its a good thing to quit those things before hand. Don't stress yourself out, its a common thing to happen, as long as you don't drink or smoke anymore while pregnant. But congrats on the pregnancy! :)

thanks.. i was a bit scared but i am stopping now.  i still have to go to the doctors to find out i just took a pregnancy test but i am probably 4-5 weeks . weird tho i showed no signs but a missed period . thanks again

thank you ... i was not planing on getting pregnant i came back for a long deployment and meet up with my husband when i got off the boat... been having alot of fun since then but its come to a halt. :) but i am very happy.  thanks i am way to new at this and really young its nice to hear from others.

Yeah you are fine!  I smoked and drank before I knew I was pregnant with my first child. Thing are gonna be ok!  Congrats! You wait till you see that bundle of joy.. you couldnt imagine your life with out him/her.
