is there still hope?

hi i had an ultrasound done today i am 6 weeks 3days today and i wanted to know if they didnt see anything yet on the ultrasound is there still hope me levels are still going up the are at 40000 and something could it be posiable that it is still early?

did they at least see a sac?  it can take up to the end of the 6th week to see a fetal pole but at 6 weeks you should see a sac.

yea i think they did i dont get my results until tom. but i dont think they seen the baby cause i think they would of said something to me about it

I can't beleive they didn't show you anything! I would call your DR and demand to be told somthing, sorry you are going through this :(

I went for my first ultrasound at 5w6d and only saw a sac, I went back a week later and they saw a very very tiny fetal pole.  It could be too early to see the fetal pole yet, but they should have seen a sac.  I would call and ask for better results.
