keen to conceive

Hi I'm 24 yrs old. I was married in mar 2009. Im having irregular periods after marriage. Im under medications, I got periods on time this month ie July 2009. Im very much keen in getting pregnant. Im under follicular study. On 8th day, small follicules found. So Doc advised me come on 15th day ie 07-aug-09. I don know wat they will do. Whether i will become pregnant this month itself?

If your doctor found multiple small follicles on your ovaries, you could have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It can affect your periods and can also cause you to not ovulate. Without ovulation you cannot conceive. They will most likely give you a medication to induce ovulation.

Thanks Renee. Doctor said follicule was in first stage (small in size). Doc asked me to come on 15th day to check whether follicule has been grown enough to rupture from the ovary. otherwise they will inject the follicule to rupture. Now my doubt is whether i will become pregnant this month
