i would recommend speaking with your doctor about getting off the medication. Drugs like that can have effects on the fetus. You can always reduce your dosage so that you dont harm the baby. Slowly is the best way so that you dont have severe withdrawls symptoms which could also harm the baby. I HIGHLY ADVISE SPEAKING WITH YOU OB-GYN BEFORE TAKING SUCH STEPS!!! and do your research on the medication, and keep in mind that your baby will be addicted to this drug when he or she is born, and while you are in labor it can cause breathing problems for you and your baby. The drug may also appear in breast milk which means you would also be giving the drug via breast feeding to your baby if you decide to breast feed
