miscarried this morning..nurse just called with next steps

Well everyone as you might know my hcg went down to 9 yesterday and this morning i passed what i believe was the begginnings of our beautiful baby.  Now I have my period with HORRIBLE cramping!  The nurse just called me back after speaking to my doc and she said that he does not want me to take clomid this cycle....why not???? and that I can either wait for me to get another period so that i can start clomid next month or I can abstain from july 11-25th and then have a preggo test and then be on provera again and then clomid. why can't i just start the clomid again on day 3 this cycle? she also said that my doc only does 6cycle of clomid b/c you should only have 12 cycles total in your life b/c it can dramatically chance your ovaries and increase your chances of ovarian cancer. So she said that after we do 3 more cycles of clomid and if we don't get pregnant then he would suggest injectables and a tube dye study.  I asked about IUI and she said that the clomid is making me o so that my doc didn't think IUI would do much more then what we are already doing. i'm so confused on what to do.  any ideas out there?

I'm sorry for yuor loss. Your Dr most likely doesn't want you to use clomid this month as they reccomend you wait at least one cycle before you start trying to concieve again. I think they do this so that your body as a chance to heal and to regualte itself again. I lost mid-pregnancy and was told to wait at least 3 months until we started to ttc

They didnt do the tube dye study first? They did that test 1st for me and then started me on clomid, but that was over a year ago, I did 4 cycles and then quit and then got pregnant on my own this year

the did not due to tube study, they said they would do it after the 6 cycles of clomid if they don't work....
they said i most likely won't ovulate on my own or get my period this next time so i will probably end up taking provera again....this waiting game is the pits! thanks for all the support everyone! i truly appreciate it!

i was only 3 weeks but already so attached since this is the first time we achieved conception......
