It sounds like a hormonal issue.and that your not ovulating.dont worry to much, there are many reasons why,and there is stuff that can be done,so try to relax.you may even ovulate, stress causes our bodys to go through all sorts of changes.

Hi there, I had the same thing happen to me. It turned out that I just happened to skip 2 periods. I wasn't pregnant even though I swore I was, and both hpt and blood tests came back negative. The Dr. told me it can happen, even if you have normal periods, and not to worry, it could be just changes in your body. Don't worry about it, I know it's hard not to, I was worried, and cried both times they told me the blood tests were negative, I had a pap and they said everything looked fine, so really, go to the dr just to make sure, but don't stress out about it, you are not alone with this! And I think it's more common than we realize. Good luck!

Hello. I think we have the same thing going on. I have not had my perod since the end of July. I have taken several hpt and all are negative. I however have not had a blood test yet. I think I just keep thinking it is going to start any day. I know I should probably get checked out though. I have had some mild cramps here and ties but nothing major. I also tend to stress alot so I look at that being my problem too. I know our bodies are all very different.

I am 35 years old and have three children. The youngest being 8.  I by no way want any more children.  My menstrual cylce has always been irregular so I ussually don't think too much about it.  I am starting to get a little wooried know since my last menstural cycle was August 4, 2009. My cycle runs anywhere from 30-40 days.  I did take a hpt last week in the middle of the day and it was negative.  I have another one and was going to take it in the morning.  I keep putting it off b/c I am a little scared that it will be positive.  I seem to tire out easily but I also changed my daily routines lately by going back to school and work.  I don't think I am stressed , atleast I wasn't before I realized how late I was, but I don't know what else would cause me to miss my period.  I keep reading all of these discussion boards but I seem to be getting even more nervous b/c I hear alot of people get negative results then find out they are 3 - 4 months pregnant.  Any advise?
