I really hope someone else can confirm this but I *THINK* UnisomUnisom Unisom sleepgels maximum strength Unisom sleepmelts Unisom with pain relief has been prescribed during pregnancy. I think it helps with morning sickness but also to help you sleep. Just wanted to throw that out there because I know I've read it somewhere...but please check it out somewhere else too before you take anything. :) Hope you get some zzzzzzs soon! :)
Unisom is safe, it is an OTC drug used for sleeping and docs even use it for morning sickness. It isn't habit forming like benedryl is. They even come in tasty meltaways.
My Doctor also said unisom or benadryl work, they say unisom works for morning sickness also. I took unisom when I was pregnant with my daughter and am taking it everyother night or so now, I'm 12weeks 4days. Good luck.
tylenol pm and benadryl. i would suggest the benadryl alone if you are just having trouble sleeping but if you have a headache or pain before bed, then the tylenol PM. the sleeping agent in it is benadryl.
Yes, The other ladies are Right. Your thru your first 12 weeks so benadryl will be safe.
OR you can take the Generic brand (or name brand) of Unisom Sleepgels or Sleeptabs. one has Diphenhydramine (sp?) the other has another med but both are safe.
if you STILL have trouble sleeping speak to your doctor as there are a few prescribed meds that are generally thought to be safe during pregnancy.
