not on pill anymore...

So i'm still ttc, had some problems with ovarian cysts leaking, was told i could still ttc.  My question is when ur not on the pill is it usual not ot have your period for 35 days? When i was on the pill i had it 25 or 26 days.  I have had my hcg levels tested twice about two weeks ago, and i did an at home prego test last friday.. still not pregnant.  My birthday is on saturday and we are all going out, but i dont know if i should drink or not..  So is it normal not to have your period after 35 days when off the pill?

I think its best u dont drink...i had pcos and was on bc to regularize my cycle...used it for almost 2yrs...its a yrs since im off bc and ttc now...once i stopped i didnt face any difficulty..now my periods r regular and have my af every 24 days...how long have u been off bc and if uve stopped it quite sometime ago...have ur periods been regular since uve been off bc and if they have and now its late by 35 days u have every chance of being preggie..so its good not to drink...

I took my last bc on December 26, 2007.  So this would be my first period after stopping them.  I was thinking of doing another hpt on saturday morning.  But if i am preggie i will be super exicted, and that would be the best damn bday gift ever:) Just not sure what i would tell ppl who buy me drinks at the dinner?

yes its very normal. when you are on the pill you do not ovulate, meaning the bleeding your having during that time is not a real period,just a break through bleeding. cycles usualy range from 28 days to 32 days. it could take you a few cycles to start getting regular again.

i know a cousin of mine who gets her periods only every 3 months and i blieve its normal in some cases...its hard to predict untill its a positive...now she has a daughter whose 7...
