i was wondering if anyone has some info on this... i will explain I am 33
i have 2 kids and those 2 pregnancy were both really fast in conceiving (they are 10 and 9 yrs old)
so when my husband and i decided to have another child i was surprised to see that it was harder
for me to conceive. we have been trying for 8 months so last month i decided to try an ovulation kit.
i was able to see by the positive results on the test that i ovulated a lot later then i thought i did.
i have a 32 day cycle and ovulated around the 3rd and 5th of april. i am usually due to start my periods
32 days later like always which would of been on the 14 (monday).no periods yet..my question is
how long after ovulation occurs can we take a pregnancy test? if i calculate now it just seems
like it would be to soon..not enough days between the ovulation and the period ...
thanks
If you ovulated on the 3rd or 5th then you should be able to test but you may want to re-test next week to be sure of your results (if it is negative for sure test again). I don't know how soon you got positive results for your other children, but I know sometimes it takes womenWomen's way longer to get a positive results. All I know is I was 4 weeks preggo and got negative tests, then 3 weeks later miscarried (I never retested because it was already my third negative test). So test now and retest later :) Hope everything works out in your favor. Keep us up to date!
