pink discharge?

hi
im 5weeks pregnant and for the last 2weeks i have had slight pains(like period pains).i had spotting around the time of my period but its stopped and now a week later i seem to have a tiny ammount of light pinky/brown discharge.im worried im going to have a miscarriage.can anyone offer me any advice?i went to my doctor last week to tell her i was expecting and she said come back in 4weeks time,so she wasnt much help!has anyone else had this in pregnancy or before a misscarraige?please help!thanks x
