THANK YOU.. i have no bleeding actually. there is blood building up behind the baby sack and they are worry. and so am i . i have appt with the specialist on tues but idk if that gonna be too long of a wait or not. but thanks!
Many womenWomen's way have placenta previa and deliver full-term healthy babies. I wouldn't worry about it. Likewise, I would also be careful about how much I lift (probably no more than 10-15 lbs for you, right?) and about how long I stand on my feet. Put those feet up when you can.
Also, no intercourse. I had placenta previa which corrected itself by 26w. I was put on partial rest (limited activity) and complete pelvic rest (no intercourse)
Most women with placenta previa early on in their pregnancy will have it resolve on its own before the 3rd trimester and will be able to deliver vaginally and have a healthy baby. The risk with placenta previa is that the placenta is low and covering your cervix instead of high and away from your cervix. You will want to avoid lifting and sex like the other girls said, and your Dr. may do more frequent ultrasounds to watch and see if your placenta is "moving". It doesn't really move, it just gets a new position if you will as your uterus grows.
I noticed that you said that there is blood building up behind the sac... this sounds like an SCH to me?? I had one when I was pg with DS and they first mistook it for placenta previa...
idk. the doctor ask if i was bleeding and i said no and she goes well i know why your blood is building up behind the sack and that your placenta was blocking your cervix. so that is what they are scared right now because they dont know where the blood gonna go . they are hoping that it will leave the system on its own very soon.. and whats a sch?! im new at this .
also have another question, sometimes when i sneeze my one side where my ovrais ggoes through a shock wave of pain.. does that have to do with my placent preiva?!?! shoiuld I worry?
ok good!!! i went to the er, last night bc my doctor said if i wanted to go to the hopstial that i should/could. so i did and they said they did not see any plancenta prieva and could not find any blood!!!! so i dk if there technogly is wrong or its just a mircale!!!
Well the ER isn't the best place for a pregnant woman to go for prenatal care or advice. Unless you went up to L&D and had the sonogram done, I would trust the first sonogram. They just don't deal with pregnancies and pregnancy-related issues. The ER is more equipped and knowledgeable for things like gunshot wounds and broken bones.
i wish you all the luck.......
Good luck with your appointment!
