plz help,pregnancy blood sugar

hi all,i am 8 weeks pregnant i had a fasting blood sugar  last week ,before pregnancy it was 95 and now it is 96 ,one of my friend said after pregnancy it should drop to 70-80 and you might be at risk of getting diabetes.is it true?my blood sugar is high?
what is the average number for it?
plz answer i am so worry,

Well because we use a differnt number system here i can't help you with the numbers.
Why did you have to do the test so early? Usually it is done at around 28 weeks
If you have gestational diabetes you are at risk for developing diabetes later in life
If you do have gestational diabetes it is better to find out and try to treat with diet and exercise or you may even have to go on insulin. It is not that bad. I have to give myself 3 needles a day in my belly, but i knw that it is better for me to keep my sugars under control. It is safer for the babe, unconrtolled blood sugar can lead to lots of compliations for the babe
