so anxious

hi everyone,i just had apositive preg test at d gp`s 5 days ago,and shuld be 5wks on.was referred for an u/s d following day.d dr said notin was found,did a blood test and t hcg was abt 1500.another test after 2 days and it was abt 2000.dr said d increase was quite low.i`m so confused.another scan today and notin was seen.just being so worried and restless.i hope all is well.

hcg levels should double between 48 and 72 hours. your dr didn't allow enough time between tests to see if your levels did that. it's perfectly normal not to see anything on an ultrasound until you're 8 weeks pregnant. so, all could be well. i'd request hcg level checks at 72 hour intervals and a scan at 8 weeks in your position. best of luck.
