spotting and confused..

Hi my body is confuzing... ok my husband and i have been ttc since feb and i got prego in april..and miscarried 4 days after i found out..the dr. said i was very early on, i didnt need a d&c. so anyways he told me i could continue trying and i didnt have to wait! so have been trying since and my periods are irregular so its hard to really know when im ovulationg but i do get those little ovulation pinchy kind of cramps. well my last period was may 23 & have only had spotting since then..i would say my periods are between 33-39 days. well i started spotting 25days after my last period that lasted 8 days and was supppper light and brownish..and spotted again 20 days after my last spotty period and again very light and its brown and stringy & and lasted 8 days again...so what does this sound like should i take a test because i did last time and it was neg. is it possible my period is shifting can you get periods that close together???
