symptoms at 6 weeks

by mh2968, Mar 19, 2008 04:02PM
I have asked this question before, but now I am getting a little concerned.  I have very few symptoms at 6 weeks.  My BB are not sore and I have no nausea.  I am occasionally crampy, and a bit tired, with a headache now and then but that's about it.  A week ago my HCG was 2260, but my OB did not feel I needed to repeat the test to check for rising levels.  Should I be concerned?

this pregnancy i did not start feeling sick until about 8 weeks i think.  some people don't get sick at all (they are blessed!!!).  and this is my 4th pregnancy and my bbs have never been sore during pregnancy.  i believe you are probably fine and trust me once you get sick you are going to wish you hadn't!!!  good luck!!!

Thank you so much for responding.  I appreciate any reassurance.  I don't see my OB for 2 weeks and this 2WW is much more agonizing.

I wish I could say that I was going through what you are going through. Trust me I am 6 weeks as well and I would give you all of my ailments if I could. Don't wish it on yourself. It is not the glorious part of pregnancy. With my first I had no symptoms at all. This as it is 11 years later, is absolutely for the *birds*. So don't worry. Keep the faith. I am glad your OB took your HCG, mine just kicked me out the door and told me to come back in April. Keep your head up!

For those of you who are 6 weeks pregnant (or earlier) when you say that sometimes (or never) your boobs don't hurt do you mean AT ALL?? I'm wondering if they feel full or heavy and/or if they hurt just a little when touched?
I"m pretty sure I'm not pregnant and I'm just dealing with a hormone imbalance which caused me to be late the first time in my life but this afternoon i started feeling slightly nauseas and it came back tonight. Other than that, nothing. My breasts weren't even sore before I was supposed to start (on the 17th) and this could be due to anovulation but I had the ewcm so i thought I had ovulated!

If you ever have a lot of symptoms and then just lose them all together, then I would be concerned.  Otherwise hopefully you are just really blessed.  I am 9w and all I have is extreme tireness and hungry all of the time.  With my last preg. I don't remember having any symptoms at all.  Good luck!  Everyone handles pregnancy so different!!

I felt the same way you are feeling.  At 6 weeks all I felt were sore breasts.  I haven't had many pregnancy symptoms either.  I'm 11 weeks now, and still just sore breasts.  No morning sickness.  some moodiness.  Every once in awhile I get a headache and maybe a little queasy.  I'm always hungry though.  I stressed about it alot a first because I felt like, if this pregnancy is normal I should feel pregnant.  I'm ok now my babies growing ok, and they're active.  Have you had an ultrasound yet?

by mh2968, Mar 20, 2008 10:42AM
My first ultrasound is until the 3rd of April.  My breasts aren't sore, but they never got sore when I was PMS.  I am trying not to be concerned.  I just can't wait for my first visit.

Waiting until the 3rd is probably best.  You'll get to see more.  Its just so hard not to be concerned, right? I was super stressed at first.  I'm handling things better now. Good luck to you.  Maybe we were just blessed to not be sick.
