is there something i can do to increase my hcg levels for my next pregnancy? i lost my last one at six weeks two days ago. my hcg levels were low from the beginning. they began to rise but never made it past 139. then they fell and i miscarried. now they are at 22 as of today. i want to get pregnant soon and my dr has given me the greenGreen tea light. is there something i can do to keep hcg levels up? i have had my clotting factorsFactor ix complex checked and they are all fine (protein C, factorFactor ix complex v leiden,etc.). i have not had my progesterone tested. thanks for any feedback.
I've never heard of raising HCG levels. You can talk to your doctor about progesterone supplements though...progesterone is the hormone that helps to sustain the pregnancy.
However, you're HCG may have been low becuase their was a chromosomal abnormality with that pregnancy. You may have already started miscarrying by the time they checked your levels which would mean they would appear lower in the beginning anyway.
If in fact it was just somethign chromosomal that caused your miscarriage your next one could be perfectly healthy. My 2nd pregnancy was a m/c I went on to have 3 successful pregnancies (1 ended in still birth but that was cord related) and then my 6th pregnancy resulted in m/c and I'm now almost 17 weeks into my 7th pregnancy.
Yes, I agree withj LosingMyMindInGA, I've never heard of anything to keep Hcg levels at a safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex level.....those are the hormomes that your body produces when you are pregnant and are used as a sort of guideline......To the best of my knowledge the Hcg level only indicates of a pregnancy is progressing or being lost......Very sorry for what you are going thru.
