twin pregnancy

by sgregory18, Nov 28, 2008 09:56AM
i recently viisted the emergency room due to lower abdominal pain.. but when i left the ER the pain was still there. But the doctors did an ultrasound and discovered two babies. baby A was said to have distal deformity that is associated with large cyst, ? caudal regression, ? spina bifida. and baby B had no deformities grossly. This is what is on my release papers word for word. Can anyone help me with this. Is there anything I can do.

i can't answer your question, but I would definately call your OB and have them translate, as soon as possible, just so you know what lies ahead for you.   Did you know that you were pregnant or was it a suprise?

i knew i was prego but  didnt know i was having twins.. i actually went back to the doctor today a different er and they told me that i had a cyst, but they werent sure if baby A had spina bifida. because they said they seen the whole spine of Baby A ... so im hoping and praying after I get another through ultrasound from another doctor everything will be okay...

Keep a positive attitude and get another ultrasound. How far along are you

I'm glad that you got another opinion....How far along are you?  I wish you all the best...the not-knowing is the hardest part, I think.
