ultrasound scan at 8 weeks

I was wondering if anyone could help me im due to have my first scan on monday i will be 8 weeks. Can anyone tell me what i will see. And if i will be given a chance to purchase a picture with me attending an early pregnancy assesment unit.

Hiya congrats on your pregnancy.not sure where you are from,but here in the uk,you dont have the option to get a pic.although it depends on the sonographer,somtimes they will.usually we have the pic at the 12 week scan,if you click on my profile check out my pics.you will see my scan pic from 8 weeks.I paid to have a scan privately.all you will see is a little bean,you may see heartbeat.dont be alarmed if you dont you have to keep your eyes peeled.its great though.
