i had a friend tell me that womenWomen's way can only get pregnant one day a month.
is this true?
my boyfriend & i are trying to get pregnant and the last day of my last period was the 23rd of december
& we tried on the 31st of december & new years day.
what are my chances of a "sucess"?
What worked for me was having intercourse two weeks before my next period. It worked on the first time I tried it, but everyone is different so don't get stressed out if you don't conceive on the first month. Stressing about it affects your body and actually makes it harder to conceive. Try not to test too often because each negative result will make you sad and you don't want to lose hope. There's always hope! So keep trying and have fun, don't stress. Then test after you miss one period. Good luck!
If you have a regular cycle you can figure out your ovulation time by subtracting 14 from your cycle length. For example, if you have 30 day cycles, minus 14, you would ovulate on or about the 16th day of your cycle. Basically 15 days after the first day of your period.
You need to know the FIRST day of your last period in order to help yourself calculate how long your cycles are. The first day of your period is cycle day 1 (CD1).
