It may be too early.  I didn't my first u/s done until I was 8 1/2 weeks so we were obviously able to see everything.  I think at 5 weeks you should be able to see something.

well maybe you have an etopic or something. or maybe you just found out really early but i took a pregnancy test and within about 3 days had a doctors apointment and an ultrasound and we saw a sac and a dot. and that was somewhere within 5 weeks.

when was your last period. maybe your just really really early on

My situation is strange...1.5 years ago i was pregnant and my hcg levels were not doubling and we could not see a sac. It was ectopic pregnancy and i lost my right tube.
This May i was pregnant again and my hcg was doubling fine but again no sac at 6 weeks so the doctor said is ectopic again and i had a surgery.
Now i am pregnant again!!!! (changed doctor) and told me that if the hcg levels are doubling it means the pregnancy is going well, so i now think what was the second then?Maybe my previous doc should have waited longer for the sac?Now my hcg is great and i have an appoitment on Friday at the doc!Hope all goes well.
Does anyone have similar situations?
