good things about twins is you get more Dr's appts so you get to see and hear them alot more...I was going in every 2 weeks but my Dr has my up to every 3 til I get around 28 weeks then back to every 2.....

iv got them every 10 days lol i have put on so much waight is that normal?

I actually haven't gained any yet well I gained  3 lbs lost 4 lbs gained 2 lost 4 so I weigh less than before I was pregnant....but that's not normal I'm just a freak case I guess...LOL but I started pouching at 6 weeks.....by 8-9 weeks everyone could tell now I'm just huge....LOL  but with twin you should gain 28-40lb.....

yeah well im 8 weeks and put on just about 2 stone lol so im getting big u can tell im pregnant my stoimiks all starting to join in to a bump and im 8 weeks so scared how big i will get

hey you holler at me any time you want I'm usually on here through the week......twins are great I can't wait to meet mine.......another thing with twins you are suppose to gain your weight earlier cause twins gain their weight earlier since most of times they don't make it to 40 weeks you will normally have twins 32-36 weeks.

yep these are my first also...I've had 2 Miscarriages before but I never got past 8 weeks with those.  So this is my first healthy pregnancy.

i'm going in for my 13 week appointment tomorrow with my twins and my doc said theres a chance we could find out tomorrow. i think it just all depends if the babies cooperate....what sort of sonogram is done and what kind of machine they use. i know they say the 4d you have better chance with seeing the sex. that or a transvaginal ultrasound gets a better shot of the babies.

Do you all have twins in your family??? I would LOVE twins and I read somewhere that the group of women that has the most twins was in Africa and it was down to some Yams that they ate that made them hyperovulate, I seen some Yams in the supermarket but not sure what they are or how to cook them and they won't be the same species I s'pose. I think Yams might be some sort of potato (I'm from the UK). Anyway, my Mums sister was a twin so they're in my family.....
Any tips???

I have twins in my family as well as DH in his....but we also took clomid to get pregnant and we were having triplets but lost one so just the two now.....I had just a regular 2 D u/s when we found out ours.....just praying it's still the same Monday I already went a little crazy shopping

twins here also, 7w today... we heard the heartbeats on friday.. comepletely amazing.. i have another appt on 4/3 and was told that after that appt i have to start visisting my obgyn and leave the fertility specialist...isn't this ALL amazing.. its our first also.. does anyone have any symtoms?.. i thought i would have more since i am carrying two but only have sore breast.. is this normal???
