will i get pregnant?

i had been taking cefprozil for about 13 days i still took my birth control (Yasmin) when i took the anitbotics and then i got my period and after i got off my period i had sex and then 5 days later i started back taking my birth control. Iam still taking my birth control but someone told me that when u take anitbotics birth control does not work and now iam scared iam pregnant. I still have about 7 days of birth control left but i worried should i be?

Its possible that you could get pregnant even with taking birth control however as long as you take them everyday at the same time and dont miss a dose then your chances of getting pregnant are slim. Best thing to do is wait until your period is due and if you miss it then take a test. If negative and you still dont get your period with in a week retest. If still negative then contact a doctor and request a blood test. But try not to worry like I said the odds are small and if you worry about it too much then you could cause your period to be late because of that.
