worried about doing too much

by rghkah38, Mar 17, 2009 01:51PM
Ok, I 'm about 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant and last night after work I starting cooking and doing house cleaning. Well, after vacuuming a room and a half I starting feeling very tired and achy. I did have some cramping, but not too bad. I have fertility issues, so the dr., told me not to vacuum and do not lift anything over 15 poundss. I do have other restictions, but as you can see I didn't listen very well. I am concerned that maybe I affected something in my body by doing too much. My utrasound is tomorrow and I am too worried right now. Has anyone else felt this way after doing too much during the beginning of their pregnncy?

Most likely you just made yourself sore. Definitely listen to the doctor- it's worth it! Have someone else vacuum for you. And listen to your body. When you start to feel achy or fatigue, stop what you're doing and rest.
