wrapping a baby in summer?

by therese101, Nov 04, 2009 05:36AM
We are about to go into summer soon and Lily will not sleep during the night unless she is wrapped up. The other night it was so hot here i was worried about her overheating. How did you cope with wrapping your baby during summer?

Yeah, just use a lightweight cotton blanket instead of the fleece.

Summer? I wish! Im expecting snow here tonight. The lighter the material, the better.

we used a muslin Peke Moe sleep sack www.pekemoe.co.nz and it was great for the hot summer days!

Summer thats So not fair. My central heating has been condemned and we are waiting for them to fix us up with a new system (but it could be up to 2 weeks) its bl**dy freezing here! We've been like this for 2 weeks already. Can I come live with you?????? Lol.

lol sure, maybe we could swap! i hate the heat i would rather be cold, we have no air con, lily hates the heat too!

I'd love a swap!!! You'd soon get fed up of being in cold and rainy england! Seriously tho its my dream to emigrate to australia one day. Be a bit scared leaving my family tho. My kids dont' seem to mind the heat (what little of it we get over here). Maybe its cos we dont get enough that they dont get time to get fed up of it.
