Check with your dr, if im not mistaken my list listed over the counter yeast infection creams and not to insert it all the way to cervix but half way. i bought the generic brand when i had a yeast infection @ about 6 0r 7 weeks preggo
I'm not sure about over the counter drugs being near the cervix, but the medicine they gave me for yeast infection was inserted vaginally as close to the cervix as possible, my sister took monistatMonistat 3 Monistat 5 Monistat 7 Monistat-1 Monistat-1 combo pack Monistat-1 day or night 7 and her baby boy is completely fine! Ask your OB or a pharmacist at the store you buy it from if they're comfortable using it :]
My doctor told me to use any over the counter yeast infection medication. They are much mroe commonCommon cold during pregnancy my dr said, and meds are safe to take. But as always, it's best to get an answer from your dr.
