Ok this is going to be long but please somebody who knows what there talking about please try to help me answer my questions! So i hadnt had sex from October 08' until September 09'(my period had been faithfully regular) until i started becoming sexually active again. Now my period(for months) had always been around the 23rd of every month until september it was the 30th and i had been sexually active the 27th & 28th of this month. My period was almost ending on October 5th i had sex that day. And again on the 8th. I was scared i had gotten a creepy crawler so i went to the hospital on October 26th, diagnosed with a bacterial infection they treated me with some disgusting drink mix, a shot, as well as four horrible horse pills. Anyways it is now the 5th of November and i still havent gotten my period> I took a pregnancy test on the 1st of November it came back negative so i guess my questions being. .could i be pregnant? Did the medicine they gave me possibly cause my cycle to act funny? When i took the test was it to early for it to show? Could it be from me going without sex for almost a year? Please help asap! thank you

the fact you never had intercourse 14 days after the first day of your cycle makes me believe you are not pregnant as you state you had intercourse on the 05th and 08th Oct meaning only 8days after day 1 of your cycle.

I think the meds the docs gave you for the infection have knocked your cycle a little off course, i would test again and if you miss another period i would speak to a doc, best of luck to you

Any time that you have unprotected sex, you can get pregnant.  Retest again in a week.  If you still think you might  be pregnant at that time, go to the doctors for a blood test.

Illness and stress can effect your cycle.  Most medications will not.

my sis in law ended up pregnant because of the anti biotics she was on, they interfered with the pill, the same happened with a woman's daughter in law i work with though she miscarried on her 8th week.  So meds can interfere with your system and most doctors will tell you that before they give you any medication.  Again i hope you get the result you are looking for
