2 Heartbeats on Doppler

Hey ladies,
I am 12 weeks with my first pregnancy, and I was listening to baby's heartbeat with our Sonoline B Fetal Doppler, and I heard two very distinct heartbeats 3-4 inches apart. Both were very loud, one was in the mid 140s, the other in the mid 150s. I know it wasn't my heartbeat, since mine ranges from 70-100, and my placenta and artery pulses are consistently vetween

Did they both sound like galloping horses? Or did one sound more muffled? Could be twins or you could of been hearing the cord.. One or two baby's, either way congrats on your pregnancy

Unman it cld be twins, but it could be an echo of the first... I wld request a ultrasound as u should have had one by now to clarify due date and normal pregancy... hope you get what u want! :)

I haven't had an ultrasound, and Thursday a doctor in training used a doppler on me, but was really quick with it. I called the doctor today to ask what she thought, and am waiting on a call back. It's just weird, because both sound really strong and distinct.

Have you had a ultrasound? And has the Dr checked for heartbeat yet?
