I'm 40 weeks plus 6 I don't know what I'm going to do this baby hasnt came my contractions on and off I'm walking I'm staying active what else is there to do???

Yaaay i delivered a beautiful baby girl about two hours ago 8 lbs. 1 oz.

With my first pregnancy i tried several different things to induce my labor and nothing worked then i had sex at 130am on Christmas morning and within a half an hour contractions started i was already dialated to 4cm so i waited for them to get close enough and at 330am i went in to the hospital and had my baby girl at 1130am on Christmas morning she was the first Christmas baby born at the hospital the 2nd one was born within 20 minutes of my daughter! But nothing else worked and i had never heard if sex inducing your labor until that day. But just a hint if your gonna try this don't tell your hubby your intentions i told mine that that's what i was trying to do when i was pregnant with our son and he wouldn't do it!

I'm 39+2  I'm only 1cm and I'm so ready my back and feet are killing me I'm so ready and my Dr wont induce me. And I agree nothing worked for me either walking, food,sex :/

I am 39 + 5 and dialated to 4. If any of the crap people says helps induce actually worked for them it was only by coincidence. Sex makes me contract like crazy but doesnt make me go into labor. And i contract hard for hours.

I know how you feel. I went almost 2 weeks over with my first after trying everything. Ended up being induced. Hope I don't get to that this time. Good luck it won't be long now. :)

Well with my first I tried  all the crazy things to get induced.  And NONE of them worked.  I wish I woulda just relaxed and let her come when she was ready.  Everyone is different though.  Some people swear having sex induces. Or walking.  Or certain foods - and it does for some people.  None of it worked for me.  I'm 5 weeks with my 2nd and I am determined to just let the baby come when he/ she is ready.
