Acid Reflux/ heartburn
I have acid reflux all the time, is that considered heartburn? And is the saying true, acid reflux means your baby is going to have a head full of hair?
Im 29 weeks and have had it since 12 weeks its horrible. ..never had ot bad with my girl. .this one is a boy and due may 14th. Gaviscon has helped loads!
It's horrible, I have acid reflux and indigestion constantly and I am only 12 weeks. I hope it goes! Taking omeprazole to treat it x
It depends on how severe it is. I have it pretty mildly and one tums clears it up. I had it terribly with my first and tums did the trick but I never had anything done for it. Heart burn doesnt burn. It just hurts. The way I explain it is like I have a heavy man sitting on my chest about to break some ribs and I can't breath.
Acid reflux is not considered heartburn. I had so bad first pregnancy that I lost 70lbs and felt terrible all the way through. This pregnancy I have it also not as terrible as first I'm halfway through it and I've only lost 20lbs. Protonix is what doc gave first time this time doc is giving Prilosec could be reason I'm not sure. I hope you're getting treatment for acid reflux could cause long term esophagus issues. Acid reflux & heart burn are NOT the same thing. Acid reflux must be treated, as it can cause ulsers.
The saying of lots of heartburn means lots of hair on baby is a old wives tale.
