Am I really pregnant?

I have been ttc for two years now and it has been a really long road. In November I didn't start my cycle on time so my doc had me take Provera for five days 13-17. Around the 21st I took a hpt and it was negative and a few days later I had a cycle that lasted for 3 days. On Dec 4 I had this strange feeling and took another hpt and it said I was positive. I went to get check at the er because I had some brown light spotting and was just concerned. The sonogram didn't show a sign of pregnancy but my hcg level is at 46. They advised me to get the level checked again tomorrow to see of the level has went up any. I am nervous that they are going to tell me I miscarried. Is it possible that I am pregnant and it;s just too early to see on ultrasound? Has anyone ever had this happen?

With my first son the soctor didnt listen to me about my last period and said I was further than I was and ordered an us but it was too early to see anything so I had to wait another 4 weeks to do another us. So yes it can be to early.

I agree. Could just be too early. I had 2 positive pregnancy tests. But when I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks, all we could see was an empty sack. They told me to come back in 2 weeks. Which was 11 weeks, & there was the embryo inside the sack! So as early as you could be? Definitely going to have to wait a bit longer and get checked again. Good luck!

Agree^^^ it could be too early for them to see anything. Spotting for me in early pregnancy was normal,  I was spotting before I knew I was pg n thought it was a light period,  brown Spotting could be implantation bleeding.  I would schedule an appt with ur OB asap they can give u better answers@

Yes very possible it sounds way too early to see on ultrasound you need to be 6 to 8 weeks along before they can clearly see the fetus 5 weeks to see gestational sac
