Anti Sickness medication

Hi all, after a week of vomiting, I went to see me doctor who prescribed me some anti sickness tablets. I've been on them for 3 days now, and so far, I've noticed no change. I feel just as bad. Thing is, I'm worried if i go back, he'll just up the dose & the last thing I wanted to do in the first place is be on medication during my pregnancy... :( I'm only 7weeks 5days. I just want to stop feeling like this.

I was put on zofran 8mg and promethazine 25mg. Zofran seemed to worked for a bit after taking it four times a day but then stopped. Promethazine was the one that worked better but made me really drowsy. I know a couple of women that were on the medication one was on promethazine whole pregnancy and their babies are perfectly healthy

I'm a FTM and have been diagnosed with Hypermesis. My nausea and vomiting started at 6 weeks and has yet to end and I'm 35 weeks today. Although I've lost 32 pounds and have been on IV's my entire pregnancy for nutrition/electrolytes, Zofran and Reglan have saved my life when it came to decreasing the vomiting and nausea!!! The pill didn't work so I have Zofran pump that pumps the medication into my stomach 24 hours a day. I never imagined being on meds my entire pregnancy but this is what has happened. This response would be endless if I told you all the things this sickness has  caused me (from bed rest to five hospital stays and mental torment), but my baby is healthy. Her weight and height is perfect and that's all that matters. As mothers, we do what we have to for our babies. We take ourselves out of the equation and push forth for the life we are trying to bring into this world! If you want the feeling to end; try everything you can including medicine. Good luck!
