Apartment problems?

I'm 33 weeks and having a problem with our neighbors upstairs. We just moved into this apartment less than a month ago to upgrade sizes for my son. Every single night since then, our upstairs neighbors have kept us up. At first we could just hear walking and I was okay with that. Now it sounds like stomping from 12am-6am. No, they aren't having sex. Trust me.. we can hear that too. If it isn't the stomping, sex, or loud fighting at 2am.. it's the random noise they make. This morning it sounded like they were running around the room while dropping bowling balls. If my husband and I wake up to this at least three times a night, I know my son will. What can I do?

I know how you feel, there are constantly kids running up and down the halls and staircases all day and night, people yelling and laughing in the halls, slamming into walls.
This building isn't for crap, so everything you hear in the halls ie stomping, doors closing, etc you feel it in the apartment too.
There's a family of Mexicans in the apartment below ours and around 1030 am they like to turn on their stereo super loud so not only do you hear every bass note you feel it THROUGH YOUR BED. And because it's Mexican music, it's not even anything recognizable that you could just blow off and go back to sleep. Every single time it's the same songs too.

I'm moving mainly because of my neighbor as well. She lives next door to me and all that slamming doors, running in and out with men at 3 and 4am, screaming and moaning through the night, and men accidentally banging on my door several times at wee hrs in the morning...its time for me to go. I called the police and let them know the next time a random man bangs on my door like the fbi...he will be maced! My landlord tried to be helpful but it really didn't do much. Hopefully your landlord will try to intervene and make things work for you all. Maybe you can record the noise as well and let them hear it. I did that as well for the officers and they confronted her about it as well.

I'll most likely talk to the landlord tomorrow and see if anything will happen! If not, I'm definitely going to call the police next time!

It's a possibility! Hahaha. Oh no! I would get out of there asap then. :( I would transfer but we're locked in on this new lease.

Do you live next door to me?...lol my upstairs neighbor is ridiculous too. I would file a noise complaint with the apartment leasing office...BTW im considering leaving my complex because I have heard it is horrible with crime in the summer time...so my nerves are officially gone lol...good luck
