Baby moving too much

This is my first time and at first I was happy to finally know what it feels like to have a baby move in my tummy. However I am now 27 weeks and I don't like it all. Flutters are okay but sharp pains are not. It only gets severe when I am laying down at night. It feels like the baby is yanking on the umbilical cord or something as the pain is around my belly button area. I do not like it at all and I am not sure if this normal or not in addition to everything else going on this was not what I was expecting. Has anyone else felt like this?

Totally normal, but the umbilical cord connects to the placenta.. Not you're belly button. My boy had some serious strong kicks and punches it startles me and feels like it jolts me to that direction. It hurts mostly in my ribs & when I'm laying on my side he likes to kick until i move off of my side. Lol. Stubborn. Once it gets tighter he'll be stretching and jabbing.. Probably will hurt. Try gently poking him/her back. I do & he stops. Lol

It's normal. . It is an absolutely horrible pain but I had it with both of my pregnancies! Hope you get some relief soon.. I'm 33+4 weeks and don't feel it that often anymore.
