I got stretch marks from my first child, now im jusy using it to help with my skin. Its been hurting as it stretches!! I feel it helps uncomfortable feeling in my stomach just started using it, dont know of it will really fade any scars. Coconut oil sounds good!! And vitamin e
Try organic coconut oil. It's a great moisturizer and helps a lot with stretch marks. Vitamin e oil and sesame oil work fairly well too, but coconut oil is by far the best. Helps their color fade postpartum also.
I started using the cream the minute i found out i i was pregnant both times.
Did you ladies start using the creams and oils at the sign of a stretch mark or as a preventative measure (before any actual marks appeared)? Thx.
I was using Bio Oil for a brief period but had to stop as it caused me to break out in a huge rash. I would recommend using something more organic if you have sensitive skin as Bio Oil isn't so pure.
I recommend Stretch Mark & Scar Cream from It Works. Best stuff ever! https://ambersmith.myitworks.com
I started with palmers cocoa but the smell was so strong. I was in my first trimester, my nose was super sensitive.
Bio oil ***** for preventing stretch marks i used palmers cocoa butter for my first then switched to bio oil in.my last trimester because someone said it worked better then got stretch marks pn.my love handles and thighs. im using palmers again this time at 20 weeks and still no new stretch marks.
Iv been using it. Dont really have any stretch marks on my belly but I always kept it moisturized since I found out I was preggo. I started using the Palmers Belly Butter and then switched to bio oil at the end of my second trimester...just to try it out. So I'm not sure which one of them really worked. I'm still using bio oil at 34 weeks, but I have stretchmarks on my hips!!! it doesn't seem like the bio oil has really helped the marks on my hips...they r still there...
I used it on my stretch marks (keep in mind I've had them since I was 12 y.o.) the bio oil did nothing. A part of me believes it Should've been expected. None of the initial ingredients contain any scar reduction properties Only fillers.
Thanks!!! Im just using it to help with the stretching
I would suggest vitamin e better then bio oil.. Not sure for stretch marks but for scars yes
I lathered my body in it with my first baby, still stretched a fair bit & have always thought it didn't work.. But my son was 10pnds & I look at other women I know who have had tiny babies & stretched WAY more than me, & think maybe it did help me! So basically its worth a try lol Better than not using it? Hope that helped somewhat x
