Blood in my vomit

I'm 10+2 weeks today and since yesterday, I've been sporadically vomiting up blood. I contacted my doctor, and the nurse that called me back said that its pretty normal.

My concern is that while I've been pretty nauseous, I haven't been getting sick so I don't know if I trust that its just my esophagus just being torn up from the nausea. Has anyone experienced this before?

I've never heard of that being normal. Usually its a bad sign or a.serious.medical problem. I have been battling bulemia for years and never threw up blood. I'd suggest a second.opinion

What is GERD? It's definitely blood; its almost like I got punched in the mouth and am spitting out a mouthful of blood. It didn't look like coffee gorunds.

I would maybe call your pcp instead of your ob on this. Is it blood your vomiting or next blood tinged mucus? Is it red or did it look like coffee grounds. Could be an ulcer. Any history of GERD?

No, I haven't experienced that, but I would suggest you go to the E.r to get a second opinion
