Borderline Low Amniotic Fluid

Yesterday I was 17 weeks and had to go to the ER because of a car accident in front of me and I slammed on my breaks and swerved and went into a small ditch.  After lab work and an ultrasound they said baby and I looked fine, but I had to make a follow up appointment with my doctor and they had said my placenta is low and have borderline low amniotic fluid level.  They said as baby gets bigger the placenta may move up.  But thats all they said about the fluid and discharged me.  But the borderline low fluid level has been driving my mind crazy, and my appointments not until tomorrow afternoon.  Has anyone else had experience with this?

It's possible too, that it's from how the baby was sitting. It happened with my now 4 year old daughter. They did one and it showed hardly any! The next time they checked, the next day I believe, everything was normal because she had moved. The angle she was at, made it look like she took up more space or something so her levels measured low. Scared the poop out of me though! Hope it is just that!!!!

They'll probably monitor you closer now. Drink more water to keep your levels up.   I'm sure everything will be fine :-)
