Breast pumping moms


when you started using the breast pump how long did it take for your milk to flow easily am have a steady flow. I have the amends purely yours pump

By the way sometimes i had to replace the white pieces where milk flowed into bottles because the suction wouldn't work as well when damaged

In the first weeks hardly any milk came out. Id have 1 oz from both. After that my milk flow increased and it would take about a minute or more for the flow to increase. I used the ameda purely yours also

My friend had trouble for a couple of weeks before things got better. But her nipples got damaged because she didn't know her son had tongue tie and he wrecked them. The key for her was taking fenugreek capsules and pumping every 2-3 hours for at least 20 minutes per side (she had a double pump so just 20 minutes total).

If the flanges don't fit properly then you will not be able to have a good output. Your nipple should not rub against the sides when suction occurs and it shouldn't hurt. Look up proper flange sizing and see if yours fit properly. When I pumped I would have a letdown after a minute of starting.
